Booz Allen Hamilton leads all companies with 12 Wash100 Award winners, followed by SAIC with 11, Lockheed Martin with 10 and Boeing with nine. Four companies–L3Harris, Northrop Grumman, AT&T and Leidos–are tied for fifth with eight Wash100 Award winners each.

1. Booz Allen Hamilton

Additionally, its longstanding relationships with government agencies like DOD and NASA have allowed Boeing to secure high-value contracts consistently, further emphasizing its importance in public sector operations. The company in April was awarded a massive contract from the National Security Agency worth as much as $390 million to provide signals intelligence, or SIGINT, capabilities, engineering, analysis and reporting tools.

The company in September secured a significant Department of Homeland Security contract worth $146 million for government emergency telecommunications service and wireless priority service.

L3Harris in November was awarded a major indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract from the U.S. Navy worth potentially $1 billion to provide U.S. and allied forces with its Multifunctional Information Distribution System Joint Tactical Radio System Terminals, known as MIDS JTRS. This is a software-defined Link 16 communication radio for a variety of air, ground and maritime platforms.
