ITC Federal CEO Greg Fitzgerald Accepts 2026 Wash100 Award

Greg Fitzgerald, CEO of ITC Federal, has accepted the 2026 Wash100 Award in recognition of his leadership in expanding the company’s federal market presence and advancing IT transformation to support defense, national security and law enforcement missions.

Jim Garrettson, CEO of Executive Mosaic and founder of the Wash100 Award, personally congratulated and presented the award to Fitzgerald during a recent visit to ITC Federal’s office.

Why Did Greg Fitzgerald Win the 2026 Wash100 Award?

Fitzgerald earned his first Wash100 Award for guiding ITC Federal’s growth strategy, strengthening its position on major federal contract vehicles and overseeing capture efforts that have positioned the company for continued expansion in competitive government markets.

Throughout his tenure, Fitzgerald has played a central role in shaping the company’s capture strategy and business development approach, overseeing pursuits that have resulted in more than $500 million in contract awards.

Under Fitzgerald’s leadership, ITC Federal secured positions on several high-profile federal contract vehicles. The company was selected as an awardee on the Missile Defense Agency’s potential $151 billion SHIELD contract vehicle, where it will provide application development and modernization, cybersecurity and operational support services.

ITC Federal was also named among the awardees on the FBI’s eight-year, $8 billion Information Technology Supplies and Support blanket purchase agreement.

“Greg’s Wash100 debut is an exciting occasion and a wonderful recognition of the leadership he brings to GovCon,” said Garrettson. “As CEO of ITC Federal, Greg has built a strong reputation for guiding the company with integrity, energy and a clear mission focus, delivering innovative solutions that support critical federal priorities.”

Garrettson added that Fitzgerald’s leadership has helped position ITC Federal to support advanced defense initiatives.

“His reputation for delivering trustworthy technology services for advanced systems was demonstrated when ITC Federal was awarded a spot by the Department of War on the Scalable Homeland Innovative Enterprise Layered Defense contract vehicle for the Golden Dome homeland missile defense system,” Garrettson stated. “Greg has a unique knack for pairing strategic vision with a genuine commitment to customer success. This inaugural Wash100 honor not only celebrates Greg’s impact so far, but also signals the bright future ahead as he continues to shape ITC Federal’s growth and influence.”

Fitzgerald has also overseen the company’s progress in cloud security and compliance initiatives. ITC Federal achieved an authority to operate through the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program for the Department of Homeland Security’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement cloud initiative, enabling the deployment of Google Cloud services under the Operations and Solutions Delivery Support Services contract.

In addition to contract growth, Fitzgerald has strengthened the company’s leadership team to support continued expansion. Recent appointments include Sean Cox as vice president of FBI client relations, Siva Sivaraj as vice president of solutions architecture, Zhenia Klevitsky as chief growth officer and Jeff Walsh as vice president of Department of Justice customer relations.

Fitzgerald emphasized that the Wash100 recognition reflects the work of ITC Federal’s employees.

“This recognition is a reflection of the incredible team we have built at ITC Federal and the mission we are on together,” Fitzgerald said. “We are at an inflection point as a company — intentionally evolving from a services provider into a technology company focused on law enforcement systems, financial systems and homeland security.”

“We are building reusable solutions, investing in capabilities ahead of demand and competing for full and open work at a scale that matches the national security missions we serve. We get up every day with a sense of urgency to build something enduring, and this honor motivates us to keep pushing forward,” he added.
