“A 2026 Wash100 Award win is a well-deserved recognition of the fresh energy and visionary leadership Rob brings to GovCon,” said Jim Garrettson, CEO of Executive Mosaic. “Since stepping into the CEO role in 2025, Rob has helped Oddball build exciting momentum in federal digital transformation, including securing a key IT support task supporting the Securities and Exchange Commission. His ability to pair creativity with mission-focused execution has made a real difference for government customers. Rob’s passion for innovation, partnership and meaningful outcomes truly embodies the Wash100 spirit and signals even greater impact ahead.”

Silverman is also set to share that perspective on stage this week at Potomac Officers Club’s rescheduled 2025 Healthcare Summit on Feb. 12, where he will moderate a panel discussion on Cloud-First, AI-Ready: Powering the Next Generation of Public Health Services. Registration is still open for government and industry leaders interested in healthcare IT modernization, cloud adoption and artificial intelligence readiness.
“It’s an honor and a privilege to be recognized among this group of leaders, to lead Oddball at this point in our strangely human journey, and to serve our government clients and fellow citizens through our work every day, putting them at the center of technology,” Silverman said.

Why Is Rob Silverman Winning the 2026 Wash100 Award?
Choosing a Smaller Platform to Drive Bigger GovCon Impact
Silverman’s decision to leave a global consulting firm and lead Oddball reflects a broader shift underway in GovCon, where agility, culture and outcome-driven delivery are increasingly critical to mission success.
In a recent Executive Spotlight interview, Silverman described the moment as a “Curve Two” inflection point for both Oddball and federal technology. “We are not just ‘up and coming’; we are already ‘here’ in the market and looking to grow to even new heights,” he said.
That belief has shaped Oddball’s approach to growth, positioning the company as an unconventional but trusted partner capable of delivering consistent, mission-aligned results.
Building Momentum Across Civilian and Defense Markets
Since stepping into the CEO role, Silverman has overseen meaningful contract momentum for Oddball. The company secured a key IT support task supporting the Securities and Exchange Commission and was awarded its first full and open contract with the Defense Health Agency.
Oddball also earned a position on the Missile Defense Agency’s SHIELD IDIQ and continued strong execution as a joint venture partner on the Department of Veterans Affairs’ SPRUCE contract, expanding its footprint across both civilian and defense missions.
Launching Corporate Curve 2 and Expanding Oddball Labs
Silverman has led the rollout of Oddball’s Corporate Curve 2 strategy, which focuses on next-generation capabilities, priority clients and scalable corporate infrastructure. A central component of that strategy is Oddball Labs, an initiative designed to accelerate innovation and co-develop solutions alongside government customers.
The company is preparing to open a new Oddball Labs facility in Arlington, Virginia, creating a collaborative environment for federal clients, technology vendors, partners and academic institutions to co-solution emerging mission challenges.
Strengthening Partnerships and Preparing for Long-Term Growth
Under Silverman’s leadership, Oddball has formalized partnerships with leading technology platform companies and expanded its solution portfolio. Backed by Falfurrias, the company is also pursuing strategic mergers and acquisitions to deepen capabilities, expand client access and maintain cultural alignment.
Looking ahead, Oddball is targeting additional full and open contract wins across civilian and defense agencies, rolling out new products and solutions and continuing to contribute thought leadership in areas such as artificial intelligence and machine learning, DevSecOps and user-centered design.

Spotlight on Healthcare Innovation and AI Readiness
Silverman’s Wash100 recognition coincides with his active role in federal healthcare modernization efforts. At the 2025 Healthcare Summit on Feb. 12, he will moderate a panel featuring senior government leaders including Dr. Jesus Caban, chief data and analytics officer at the Defense Health Agency, and Dr. Evan Carey, acting director of the National Artificial Intelligence Institute at the Department of Veterans Affairs.
The discussion will explore how cloud-first strategies and AI readiness are shaping the next generation of public health services. Registration remains open for attendees seeking insight into how government and industry are advancing healthcare outcomes through modern technology.
As Silverman continues to guide Oddball through its next phase of growth, his 2026 Wash100 Award underscores a leadership approach grounded in innovation, mission focus and the belief that meaningful outcomes start with people. Congratulations, Rob!
