Mark Gray, ASRC Federal CEO, Selected to Wash100 for Engineering and IT Services Leadership
Executive Mosaic is glad to announce Mark Gray, president and CEO of ASRC Federal, as the newest inductee into the Wash100 — a group of influential leaders in the government contracting industry.
He served as a vice president and general manager of URS‘ systems engineering and information solutions group before his move to ASRC Federal last summer.
In an October 2014 interview witht ExecutiveBiz, Gray highlighted indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity and government-wide acquisition contract vehicles as an area of emphasis for him, as well as potential moves in acquisitions.
“Many companies… acquire more for what they are getting today and do not think sufficiently about what they can do with the acquired asset going forward. We are looking for companies with high quality, sustainable earnings, not commodity services providers,” he said.
ASRC Federal’s 2014 contract bookings include one to support the U.S. Army‘s defense research engineering network, another provide IT services for NASA‘s Armstrong Flight Research Center and a third to maintainU.S. Air Force radar facilities in Alaska.
Executive Mosaic extends its congratulations to Mark Gray and the ASRC Federal team for their selection to receive this award.
