Jim Garrettson, founder and CEO of Executive Mosaic, presented Michael Corkery, president and CEO of Deltek, with his second Wash100 award on Monday.

Executive Mosaic recognizes Corkery for his efforts to improve Deltek’s enterprise software, information solutions and consulting services. We are honored to present the most coveted award in government contracting to Corkery.

Corkery joined Deltek as CFO in January 2010. Prior to his work with Deltek, Corkery was the CFO and acting CEO for ICO Global Communications where he led ICO’s day-to-day operations and financial activities for more than two years. He was also the CFO of Current Group, LLC., a company that provides innovative smart grid solutions to utility companies across the globe.

In addition to his role with Deltek, Corkery serves as a Board Member for the Year Up National Capital Region and the Northern Virginia Technology Council. In 2012, he was named SmartCXO CFO of the Year by Washington SmartCEO Magazine.

Corkery earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from St. Bonaventure University and an Executive Leadership Development Certification from The McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University.
