Damian DiPippa, CEO of Auria Space, has accepted the 2026 Wash100 Award, earning his first recognition on Executive Mosaic’s annual list of the most influential leaders in the government contracting sector.
The honor was presented by Jim Garrettson, Executive Mosaic CEO and founder of the Wash100 Award, during a recent 4×24 Leadership Program dinner.
Why Did Damian DiPippa Win the 2026 Wash100 Award?
DiPippa received the 2026 Wash100 Award for driving Auria Space’s growth while expanding its role in space operations, cybersecurity and autonomous systems.
Since taking the helm, he has focused the company on developing resilient command, control and communications capabilities, along with artificial intelligence-enabled tools designed to support space domain awareness and mission execution.
Under his leadership, Auria Space secured key contracts supporting U.S. defense priorities. These include work with the U.S. Space Force’s Space Systems Command to develop a cloud-based satellite operations platform and a contract with the Air Force Research Laboratory to advance autonomous satellite planning technologies.
DiPippa has also overseen the expansion of Auria’s cyber portfolio, including enhancements to its AI-driven network detection and response capabilities and the delivery of the minimum viable product of its Cognitive Autonomous Artificial System Intelligence platform to Naval Sea Systems Command for defensive cyber operations.
To strengthen the company’s satellite communications, software and command-and-control capabilities, the executive led the acquisitions of RKF Engineering Solutions, Kythera Space Solutions and BCubed Engineering.

Who Is Damian DiPippa?
DiPippa is a veteran GovCon executive with decades of experience across aerospace, defense, mission engineering and satellite operations.
He became CEO of Auria Space in June 2024, bringing a track record of leading complex technology organizations supporting government and intelligence community customers.
Prior to joining Auria Space, DiPippa served as CEO of Aretum and founding CEO of Arcfield. He also played a leadership role in the transition of Perspecta during its acquisition by Peraton.
Earlier in his career, DiPippa held senior leadership positions at Northrop Grumman, TASC, ManTech and Engility, managing portfolios tied to space, intelligence and defense missions.
He began his career as an aerospace engineer working on missile and satellite systems.
