CIA’s Maura Burns Receives 2024 Wash100 Award

CIA Deputy Chief Operating Officer Maura Burns was presented with her 2024 Wash100 Award during a recent meeting with Jim Garrettson, CEO of Executive Mosaic and founder of the prestigious recognition.

The Wash100 Award is an honor presented to executives in the government contracting industry who have proven themselves as strong leaders and continuously demonstrated the ability to positively impact federal missions. Winners are hand-picked using a thorough selection process that combs through the accomplishments of each nominee to identify the most influential individuals in the field.

Burns joined the ranks of Wash100 for the first time this year. She was chosen for her role in guiding the CIA’s five major directorates – which cover analysis, operations, science and technology, digital innovation and support – and mission centers to success.
