Unanet CEO Craig Halliday Accepts 2026 Wash100 Award

Unanet CEO Craig Halliday has received the 2026 Wash100 Award, marking his fourth consecutive win and recognizing his leadership in expanding the company’s technology portfolio, integrating AI capabilities into GovCon business platforms and helping government contractors modernize operations through data-driven tools and automation.

Jim Garrettson, CEO of Executive Mosaic and founder of the Wash100 Award, presented the award to Halliday during a recent visit to the Unanet office in Dulles, Virginia.

Why Did Craig Halliday Win the 2026 Wash100 Award?

Halliday was recognized for leading Unanet through a year of strong growth, AI-focused product innovation and strategic expansion across the GovCon technology market.

Garrettson pointed to Halliday’s ability to drive strong business performance while continuing to invest in AI-powered capabilities and GovCon-focused enterprise software solutions.

“We’re elated to award Craig the 2026 Wash100 Award. His fourth-straight recognition reflects his talent for growing technology firms, as demonstrated by Unanet’s double-digit revenue growth last year,” Garrettson said. “This was an impressive accomplishment considering the challenging economic climate for GovCon in 2025.”

Garrettson also highlighted Halliday’s leadership in advancing AI-enabled solutions and strengthening Unanet’s cybersecurity and compliance capabilities.

“Craig helped Unanet achieve FedRAMP Ready status for its ERP platform, demonstrating the company’s advanced cybersecurity capabilities,” Garrettson added. “He also led Unanet to a pair of impressive product launches, including ProposalAI, to help GovCons faster produce first-draft proposals, and ChampAI, a national-language copilot that automates multi-step tasks.”

He added that Halliday’s leadership has helped position Unanet as a practical AI innovator within the GovCon market.

“Under Craig’s leadership, Unanet develops AI tools that are intuitive, simplified and useful to customers’ real world business needs,” Garrettson said. “We look forward to another year of success from Craig.”

In addition to ProposalAI and ChampAI, the company recently introduced GrowthStudio, an AI-enabled growth automation platform designed to help small and midsize GovCon firms identify and pursue federal opportunities.

Beyond product innovation and revenue growth, Unanet expanded internationally through a partnership with Algorithms Software UK to bring its construction CRM platform to the U.K. market.

In addition, Unanet strengthened its GovCon capabilities through the acquisition of Contraqer, enhancing support for business development and contract lifecycle management.

Who Is Craig Halliday?

Halliday is a veteran technology executive with decades of leadership experience across global technology and enterprise software companies.

He joined Unanet as CEO in 2019 and has led the company’s continued growth in GovCon-focused ERP, CRM and AI solutions. Prior to Unanet, Halliday held executive leadership roles at J.D. Edwards, PeopleSoft/Oracle, Mincom, eServGlobal, EMS Software, Intelex Technologies and RPMGlobal.

Halliday is also a member of the Professional Services Council’s board, reflecting his growing influence across the GovCon sector and federal technology community.
