Executive Mosaic CEO Jim Garrettson traveled to the Reston, Virginia office of SOS International in recent weeks with an express purpose: to hand deliver the 2024 Wash100 Award to the company’s CEO, Julian Setian.
The award — which Setian has now won three times — compiles the most exciting and influential talents in the under-celebrated government contracting industry. Winners are well-known company leaders as well as military generals, technologists and secret MVPs; anyone who is shaping the market on a routine basis and promises to do so in the near future. Thus, it is a forward-looking honor that recognizes great leadership, innovation, vision and reliability.
Setian certainly lives up to these distinctions. In 2023 alone he led SOSi to major contract wins from the U.S. Air Forces in Europe and Air Forces Africa, the Defense Intelligence Agency and the Army Corps of Engineers, among others. These were exciting new triumphs in a career that has been dedicated to the same organization for nearly three decades.
