Everfox CEO David Wajsgras Accepts 2026 Wash100 Award

David Wajsgras, chairman and CEO of Everfox, has accepted the 2026 Wash100 Award in recognition of his leadership in advancing secure satellite communications, cybersecurity modernization and cross-domain technology platforms supporting national security missions.

Jim Garrettson, CEO of Executive Mosaic and founder of the Wash100 Award, presented the honor to Wajsgras during a recent visit to Everfox’s office in Herndon, Virginia.

Why Did David Wajsgras Win the 2026 Wash100 Award?

Wajsgras earned his ninth Wash100 Award for his leadership across two critical national security domains: resilient space-based communications and defense-grade cybersecurity.

Garrettson highlighted Wajsgras’s role in guiding transformational growth and strategic modernization initiatives at both Intelsat and Everfox.

“Dave’s ninth Wash100 Award spanning three different companies demonstrates the elite leadership and business acumen he brings to GovCon,” Garrettson said. “His signature achievement in 2025 was completing the sale of Intelsat to SES, helping create a global communications powerhouse with $4.3 billion in annual revenue and 120 satellites across two orbits.”

“Dave is tackling a new challenge in 2026 as the chairman and CEO of Everfox, a steady provider of defense-grade cybersecurity,” Garrettson added. “I’m pleased to honor Dave with a Wash100 Award for 2026 and I’m excited for what he has in store for Everfox.”

During 2025, Wajsgras helped steer Intelsat through a pivotal transformation focused on resilient connectivity, integrated multi-orbit architectures and mission-critical communications supporting government and defense customers.

Under his leadership, Intelsat secured major government opportunities, including a U.S. Space Force contract supporting maritime satellite communications for the Department of War and participation in the Protected Tactical SATCOM-Global contract vehicle.

In January, Wajsgras transitioned to Everfox, where he now leads efforts to expand secure interoperability, zero trust modernization and cross-domain collaboration capabilities for defense and intelligence customers.
