Support Andy McEnroe by voting for him in the Wash100.com popular vote competition. You can cast your vote until April 30.
The Wash100 Award recognizes the 100 most influential executives in the government contracting sector. Those selected to become part of this prestigious group have consistently demonstrated leadership and innovation contributing to the growth of their respective organizations and the industry in general.
“Andy has been a key player in some of the biggest GovCon M&A deals of the last year, from the sale of Iron EagleX to GDIT to Parsons’ acquisition of BlackSignal Technologies and the sale of Ridgeline International to Enlightenment Capital,” stated Jim Garrettson, CEO of Executive Mosaic and founder of the Wash100 Award. “As managing director at Raymond James, he helped shape the future of the industry, and his work on the annual Defense & Government Conference continues to bring top minds together. We at Executive Mosaic always appreciate the insights shared there—congrats on a well-earned first Wash100 win!”
McEnroe responded to his win, saying, “I’m deeply honored to be recognized with the Wash100 Award alongside so many distinguished leaders who are driving innovation and shaping the future of the government contracting industry. This recognition is a reflection of the collective efforts of the industry collaborators and teammates that I have had the pleasure of working alongside and our commitment to excellence for our clients.”
Providing Valuable Investment Insights
In McEnroe’s Take 10 interview, the executive noted an ongoing transition “from counterterrorism-focused capabilities to peer and near-peer oriented technologies and solutions” such as artificial intelligence, cloud, cyber, electronic warfare and mobility-oriented innovations. Because of this shift, government and defense agencies are focusing more on developing such advanced services and capabilities.
Raymond James provides sound investment advice to the government and defense sector to aid organizations in fully realizing their goals of advancing national security. Formerly a key figure in the company’s defense and government investment group, McEnroe played a major role in numerous successful investments, mergers, acquisitions and other transactions.
As the financial and legal adviser, Raymond James was instrumental in Blue Delta Capital Partners’ $25 million investment in Herrick Technology Laboratories last April. The transaction is expected to grow its portfolio of signals intelligence and electronic warfare technologies.
The diversified financial services firm also served as one of the passive bookrunners for Kratos Defense and Security Solutions’ $345 million follow-on equity offering aimed at further boosting its expansion in the defense technology market.
Raymond James advised on several successful mergers and acquisitions in the past year. OceanSound Partners’ acquisition of Antenna Research Associates in October bodes well for their commitment to providing advanced systems and subsystems in the C4ISR technology market, which aligns with efforts to grow their businesses while helping bolster national security.
“It has been an honor to help those that have served our country and continue to serve through the establishment of businesses focused on this customer set, raising capital or going through a merger and acquisition process,” McEnroe had said.
Helping Clients Navigate the Investment Landscape
McEnroe had been with Raymond James & Associates for a decade. He joined the company in 2015 as vice president of the defense and government services investment banking group. He was eventually elevated to senior VP and director before being appointed to his most recent role at the company.
Prior to joining Raymond James, McEnroe spent seven years at BB&T Capital Markets most recently as VP of aerospace, defense and government services investment banking. McEnroe also serves as a member of the ACG National Capital Board of Directors.
With the continuous advancement in the defense landscape, companies and federal agencies need to step up their game. Andy McEnroe deserves this Wash100 win for guiding these organizations through the strategic allocation of resources in a dynamic market.
Executive Mosaic commends Andy McEnroe and the rest of his team for this achievement.
