Executive Mosaic CEO Jim Garrettson Presents 2022 Wash100 Award to Maximus Federal President Teresa Weipert

Teresa Weipert, general manager of Maximus Federal, was presented her 2022 Wash100 Award by Executive Mosaic CEO Jim Garrettson during a recent visit to the company’s headquarters in Reston, Virginia.

Executive Mosaic recognizes Teresa Weipert as a first-time Wash100 Award winner for her leadership and growth and company vision for Maximus in the federal sector as well as her drive for innovation in digital transformation for federal agencies.

Maximus announced that Teresa Weipert had joined the company in her current role back in April following the retirement of Thomas Romeo, a three-time Wash100 Award winner. Weipert expressed her excitement to join the company and continue to differentiate itself in the federal market through its advancing technology capabilities and new approaches to citizen services.

“I am looking forward to building upon the foundation laid by Tom and the Maximus team over the past ten years and taking it to new heights,” said Weipert. “With the passing of the American Rescue Plan last month, Maximus is ready to assist a vast number of federal agencies to navigate our new normal.”

In addition, Teresa Weipert commented on the recent $323 million contract with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to expand the commission’s Enterprise EDGAR (Electronic Data Gathering, Analysis, and Retrieval) System Support Services in order to encompass the entire EDGAR system.

The contract award expands the scope of work Maximus currently holds to include enterprise IT infrastructure, modernization, digital transformation, agile software development, and cybersecurity services for EDGAR.

“At Maximus, our focus is aimed at helping agencies achieve their IT modernization and digital transformation goals. We look forward to working alongside the SEC to conceptualize the future state of EDGAR,” Weipert added.

Executive Mosaic is proud to recognize Maximus and Teresa Weipert for being named a 2022 Wash100 Award recipient. As a first-time winner of the highest honor in GovCon, Weipert has been recognized as one of the most significant members of consequence to the GovCon community and as one of the elite executives in our industry for the coming year.
