Jim Garrettson, founder and CEO of Executive Mosaic, presented Nazzic Keene, COO of Science Applications International Corporation, with her second Wash100 Award on Monday.

Executive Mosaic recognizes NaKeene for her leadership in expanding SAIC services into other markets to generate company growth.We are honored to present the most coveted award in government contracting to Nazzic Keene and SAIC.

Keene became the president of the SAIC Global Markets and Missions sector in 2012. In addition to that role, she became the chief operating officer of the company in 2017. She continues to serve in both positions and is responsible for supervising daily operations and long-term strategy for the company’s growth.

Prior to her tenure with SAIC, Keene was senior vice president and general manager for U.S. Enterprise Markets with CGI Group between 2004 and 2012. From 1998 to 2004, she served as the SVP and managing executive director for American Management Systems and as the regional vice president of Global Telecommunications Business for Electronic Data Systems from 1984 to 1996.

Keene also serves on the board of Capital Partners for Education and was previously a board member of the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors and Year-Up National Capital Region. She is also the recipient of the Washington Business Journal’s Women Who Mean Business Awards for the U.S. Army. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona.
