Jim Garrettson, CEO of Executive Mosaic, Presents George Wilson, President and CEO of ECS Federal, His Second Wash100 Award

Jim Garrettson, founder and CEO of Executive Mosaic, presented George Wilson, CEO and president of ECS Federal, with his second consecutive Wash100 Award on Wednesday.

Executive Mosaic recognizes Wilson for leading the company to expand its workforce, secure major contracts and grow the company exponentially. We are thrilled to present the most coveted award in government contracting to Wilson and ECS Federal.

Wilson joined ECS in 2011 as the chief strategy officer. He served in the role for three years before he was appointed to his current position with the company. Prior to joining ECS, Wilson was instrumental in growing Stanley Inc. from a small, private business of 20 employees and $2M in revenue into a public company that generates over $900M in annual revenue and 6,000 employees.

Currently, Wilson serves on the ECS board of directors. He’s also a board member of Brain Injury Services, the Professional Services Council and the Washington Choral Arts. In 1979, he graduated from the United States Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering and then he earned a Master of Business Administration from George Washington University in 1987.

The Wash100 award, in its sixth annual year, recognizes the most influential and impactful executives in the GovCon industry, as selected by the Executive Mosaic organization in combination with web nominations from the GovCon community. Representing the best of the private and public sector, the winners demonstrate superior leadership, innovation, reliability, achievement and vision.

Visit the Wash100 website to learn about the other 99 winners of the 2019 Wash100 Award. On the website, you can submit your 10 votes for the GovCon executives of consequence that you believe will have the most significant impact in 2019.
