Wash100 Award Popular Vote Week 5: Booz Allen Executives Surge as Edwards Holds Lead

The Wash100 Award Popular Vote contest continues to shift as Week 5 sees major shake-ups in the rankings. While Scott Edwards of Summit 7 Systems retains the top spot, a trio of Booz Allen executives have made significant leaps, reshaping the race.

Booz Allen Execs Dominate the Top

Scott Edwards remains the leader with 647 votes, adding to his commanding lead from last week’s 634. However, Booz Allen Executive Vice President Andrea Inserra has made a dramatic jump into second place with 641 votes, followed closely by CEO Horacio Rozanski  with 588 votes and EVP Steve Escaravage with 587 votes, showcasing Booz Allen’s strong presence in this year’s contest.

Bill Webner of Allocore holds onto a top-five position with 470 votes, slightly increasing his total from last week. SAIC President Toni Townes-Whitley raked in 465 votes, maintaining a solid standing in sixth place.

Gen. Charles Brown Jr. the former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, makes a significant jump to 459 votes, climbing from 336 in Week 4. SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, representing the Department of Government Efficiency, garnered 436 votes. DeEtte Gray of CACI advances to 419 votes, up from 363 last week, while Kristi Noem of the Department of Homeland Security Secretary rounds out the top 10 at 391 votes, demonstrating increased support from the public sector.

Potential Rivals

Several Wash100 winners outside the top 10 have also experienced significant gains. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is at the doorstep with 385 votes, followed by CACI’s John Mengucci at 373 and State Secretary Marco Rubio at 368. White House Border Czar Tom Homan makes notable progress, reaching 321 votes.

Venice Goodwine of the Department of the Air Force received 313 votes, while Juan Ramirez of the DOD Office of the Chief Information Officer now has 301 votes. CIA Director John Ratcliffe tallied 272 votes, showing increased support. Earl Stafford Jr. of Aperio Global secures 262 votes, maintaining steady momentum.

As the Wash100 Popular Vote contest continues, the competition is heating up. Booz Allen’s executives have made their mark this week and public officials continue to gain traction. With several weeks remaining, the race remains open and further surprises are sure to come.
