Veritas Capital CEO, Managing Partner Ramzi Musallam Presented 7th Consecutive Wash100 Award By Executive Mosaic CEO Jim Garrettson

Ramzi Musallam, CEO and managing partner of Veritas Capital, officially received his 2022 Wash100 Award, the most prestigious award in government contracting (GovCon), from Executive Mosaic CEO Jim Garrettson during a recent visit to the company’s office in New York City.

For the last nine years, the Wash100 Award has served as the standard for excellence in the GovCon industry and recognition for the elite federal leaders who are anticipated to make the most significant impact in the coming year. Musallam receiving his seventh consecutive Wash100 Award should perfectly demonstrate his level of commitment and success in our sector.

Visit Wash100.com to cast a vote for Ramzi Musallam as one of your TEN votes before April 30th. As a member of the GovCon community, you owe it to your peers and friends to vote for the leaders across the federal landscape who deserve to be recognized for their contributions.

For his seventh Wash100 win, Executive Mosaic was honored to recognize Musallam for leading a large number of multi-billion dollar acquisitions to drive exponential growth and fund management leadership for Veritas Capital.

Musallam stewarded the private equity firm through ten acquisitions with an aggregate transaction value of more than $21 billion during 2021, which means the firm now holds approximately $40 billion worth of assets under management.

Most notably, Ramzi Musallam's leadership was instrumental to the acquisitions of Peraton for $3.4 billion from Northrop Grumman as well as the $7.1 billion purchase of Persepcta. The two government technology contractors were combined with the former Northrop IT services unit, to create a powerhouse led by six-time Wash100 Award winner Stu Shea.

“We look forward to investing in the long-term success of the unified enterprise and to working closely with Stu and management to support our customers’ most vital missions,” Musallam explained.

In addition, Veritas Captial also completed the acquisition of Cubic Corp. for $2.8 billion, which Ramzi described as a great help to drive innovative technology platforms and build on the firm’s expertise in the government tech market to drive growth and accelerate product development.

Executive Mosaic congratulates Veritas Capital and Ramzi Musallam for receiving his seventh Wash100 Award. His commitment to excellence has not only led to substantial growth for Veritas Capital, but his influence over the federal landscape will be essential as these major acquisitions are implemented over 2022 for all federal communities.
