Jim Garrettson, CEO of Executive Mosaic, Presents David Berteau, President and CEO of PSC, His Second Wash100 Award

Jim Garrettson, founder and CEO of Executive Mosaic, presented David Berteau, CEO of the Professional Services Council, with his second Wash100 award on Wednesday.

Executive Mosaic recognizes Berteau for leading efforts to improve the U.S. government’s procurement and funding issues. We are honored to present the most coveted award in government contracting to David Berteau and PSC.

Berteau joined PSC as the president and CEO in 2016, and his focus is on shaping public policy, leading strategic coalitions and working to improve communications between industry and government. Prior to PSC he served in several leadership roles for the Department of Defense, CSIS, SAIC and other companies over his 30-plus year career.

In addition, Berteau is a Fellow of the National Academy of Public Administration and has also served as an adjunct professor at Georgetown University and the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs, a director of the Procurement Round Table and an associate at the Robert S. Strauss Center at the University of Texas.

He obtained a bachelor’s degree from Tulane University in 1971 and received his master’s degree from the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas in 1981.

The Wash100 award, now in its sixth year, recognizes the most influential executives in the GovCon industry, as selected by the Executive Mosaic organization in combination with online nominations from the GovCon community. Representing the best of the private and public sector, the winners demonstrate superior leadership, innovation, reliability, achievement and vision.

Visit the Wash100 website to learn about the other 99 winners of the 2019 Wash100 Award. On the website, you can submit your 10 votes for the GovCon executives of consequence that you believe will have the most significant impact in 2019.
