Rohit Gupta, CEO and operating partner of Aretum, has received the 2026 Wash100 Award for his leadership in advancing artificial intelligence-driven digital transformation, driving strategic growth and expanding the company’s role in delivering mission-focused technologies across the federal market.
Jim Garrettson, CEO of Executive Mosaic and founder of the Wash100 Award, presented the honor to Gupta during a recent visit to Aretum’s office in Tysons Corner, Virginia.

Why Did Rohit Gupta Win the 2026 Wash100 Award?
Gupta earned his second consecutive Wash100 Award for driving Aretum’s growth across major contract vehicles and strengthening its capabilities in AI and emerging technologies aligned with federal mission needs.
Garrettson highlighted Gupta’s leadership in positioning Aretum for continued expansion and innovation.
“Rohit is guiding Aretum to spots on major contract vehicles like Golden Dome’s SHIELD, OASIS+, and the Navy’s SeaPort NxG, a hub for highly specialized technical expertise. A 25-year veteran of subsidiary Artemis Consulting before becoming Aretum CEO in 2024, he brings deep mission-focused leadership,” Garrettson said.
“Rohit has expanded Aretum’s AI capabilities through its labs division in response to federal demand for secure, trustworthy AI, and strengthened the company through the acquisition of Veterans Engineering, enhancing cybersecurity and data-driven mission systems. His second Wash100 signals continued momentum ahead,” he added.
Who Is Rohit Gupta?
Gupta is a GovCon executive with decades of experience across IT, engineering and government services, with a focus on delivering innovative, mission-driven technology platforms.
Before becoming CEO in 2024, he was senior vice president and executive technologist at Aretum, leading Aretum Labs and advancing initiatives in AI, machine learning, robotic process automation and blockchain.
He also served as president and chief technology officer of Artemis Consulting, overseeing enterprise technology programs supporting customers such as the Library of Congress, AT&T, PricewaterhouseCoopers and TRC. Artemis was acquired by Aretum in 2024, and Gupta came aboard as part of the acquisition. He began his career as a systems architect working on large-scale government and commercial programs.
