Major Contract Wins Supporting Defense & Federal Civilian Missions
Akima and its subsidiaries have secured several major federal contract wins, including a position on the Missile Defense Agency’s $151 billion Scalable Homeland Innovative Enterprise Layered Defense contract supporting the Golden Dome missile defense architecture; a spot on the Air Force Sustainment Center’s $7 billion contract field teams labor augmentation support contract; and a spot on a Department of State facilities operations and maintenance contract valued at up to $2.7 billion covering services across more than 40 diplomatic facilities.

Akima expanded its footprint in Alabama with the opening of a new Huntsville office to support customers across the defense and space sectors.
