Executive Mosaic is honored to introduce Craig Abod, founder and president of Carahsoft Technology, as the newest inductee into the Wash100 — a group of influential leaders in the government contracting arena.

Abod founded Carahsoft in 2004 after than 25 years of sales, marketing and contract management work in the public sector.

Under his leadership, the Reston, Virginia-based information technology product reseller to government agencies has grown into a company with $1.8 billion in 2014 revenue.

Carahsoft says its partner ecosystem comprises more than 1,000 government contractors, integrators and resellers.

The company is also a GSA Schedule holder and serves as the master government aggregator for software manufacturers such as EMCHPRed Hat and SAP.

Abod has worked at DLT SolutionsFalcon Systems and Falcon Microsystems before he started Carahsoft and has worked to mentor other technology startups.

He is a recipient of awards such as the 2014 IES&BD Executive Director’s Award for High-Achievement in Sales and BD and the Federal 100 Award.

Executive Mosaic congratulates Craig Abod and the Carahsoft team for their selection to receive this award.
