Tim Hurlebaus, CGI Federal President, Named to 2019 Wash100 for Leading Clients in Defense, Intelligence and Civilian Sectors

Executive Mosaic is honored to introduce Tim Hurlebaus, president of CGI Federal, as an inductee into the 2019 edition of Wash100 — Executive Mosaic’s annual selection of influential leaders in the government contracting arena — for leading CGI Federal and serving clients in the defense, intelligence and civilian sectors of the U.S. federal government. This marks Hurlebaus’ second Wash100 award win.

In August 2018, CGI Federal opened an innovation hub in Arlington, Va., to help federal clients address the challenges related to tech adoption. The center will hold workshops and demonstrate company-built IT platforms through interactive kiosks and video walls.

A month earlier, the company secured a potential $530M task order to provide cybersecurity services for federal agencies under the Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation Dynamic and Evolving Federal Enterprise Network Defense program. The task order awarded under CDM DEFEND covers support to Group C agencies, which includes the departments of State, Commerce, Labor and Justice and the U.S. Agency for International Development.

With more than 25 years of experience, Hurlebaus has held senior leadership roles at CGI including senior vice president of the U.S. federal subsidiary’s national security and defense programs business unit and head of the U.S. enterprise markets business engineering and strategic sales group.

Hurlebaus has also led strategic growth initiatives for CGI in Europe and Asia, focusing on key strategy accounts to establish a culture and improve sales effectiveness. Hurlebaus led the annual planning process and worked to connect global CGI resources for Europe and Asia’s teams.

Prior to his current role, Hurlebaus worked in U.S. markets for more than 16 years, leading a $90M portfolio of civilian agency accounts. He also worked with the Central Intelligence Agency and the National Reconnaissance Office to help the intelligence community.

Hurlebaus remains active in the community, having served as the president of the Annandale-North Springfield Little League, on the board of Sleepy Hollow School and as an honorary chairman of the 10th annual Teardrops to Rainbows gala celebration. He is also a member of the U.S. Executive Management Committee and the Strategic Growth Council.

Executive Mosaic congratulates Tim Hurlebaus and the CGI Federal team for receiving this award.
