Award(s)

Tina Dolph, President & CEO of Siemens Government Technologies, Named to 2020 Wash100 for Commitment to Company Growth through Digitalization and Energy Resiliency for Government Customers

Tina Dolph

Executive Mosaic is honored to present Tina Dolph, president and CEO of Siemens Government Technologies, as an inductee into the 2020 edition of the Wash100 Award for her continued dedication to company expansion and technical innovation to provide sustainability across the U.S.

This marks Dolph’s second consecutive Wash100 Award. She won her first award in 2019 through her efforts to modernize energy systems for military facilities. Additionally, she demonstrated a deep understanding of government finance, strategy and operations.

Her dedication to the company and its mission continued to progress throughout 2019, working across Siemens to drive a strategy that not only leverages the company’s extensive depth in energy generation and resiliency, but also as a digitalization enabler with an industry leading software portfolio increasingly relied on by government customers to optimize maintenance, sustainment and production activities across depots and OEMs.

Most notably, Dolph and her team secured an Air Force contract for Teamcenter, a leading Siemens’ Digital Industries Software product that connects people and processes, across functional silos, with a digital thread for innovation. It is the collaboration platform that frames the digital enterprise and enables digitalization – and is being rapidly adopted by the military service branches for their logistics and sustainment needs across platforms.

Another example of Siemens software empowering government customers in digitizing their operations is through the National Center for Manufacturing Sciences’ (NCMS) led Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard Industrial Analysis effort, where Dolph’s team is creating a full digital twin of the current shipyard operations to allow the Navy to make the most cost-effective investment choices in its massive 20-year, $21 billion modernization effort for all the Navy’s public shipyards.

Additionally, Dolph has played a central role in securing defense contracts for Siemens that have driven the company’s revenue and service with the military. Dolph and her team closed a $828.8 million task order from the U.S. Navy to build, operate and maintain energy conservation systems at Naval Base Guantanamo Bay, Cuba in July 2019. This contract award, for an innovative energy savings performance contract – the largest of its type to date – will allow the Navy to begin implementing energy cost savings measures immediately through minimal capital investment.

Siemens will continue to update the naval base’s heating, ventilation and air conditioning, lighting, refrigeration, energy storage, renewable energy photovoltaic, water management and control systems throughout 2020.

In Nov. 2019, Dolph and her team secured a role as part of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ potential seven-year, $1.20 billion contract. Siemens is one of 14 companies awarded positions. The company will install utility monitoring and control systems.

Siemens will compete for orders to provide procurement and installation services and perform similar work related to heating, ventilation, heating and air conditioning equipment to the Department of Defense throughout 2026.

Executive Mosaic commends Siemens and Tina Dolph for her 2020 Wash100 Award. Dolph’s dedication, strong leadership, and company expansion prove that she should be a significant figure in the GovCon sector moving forward.
