Executive Mosaic is pleased to introduce Michael Tarulli, a managing director at Goldman Sachs, as one of this year’s Wash100 elite leaders in the government contracting arena.

Now in its 10th iteration, the Wash100 represents a premier group of executives and officials who demonstrate vision, achievement and innovation at public or private sector organizations, and this year marks Tarulli’s first time receiving GovCon’s most prestigious accolade.

Vote for Michael Tarulli as your favorite awardee from the 2023 Wash100 class! Our popular vote contest ends on April 28.

Tarulli is a chartered financial analyst with over two decades of investment advisory and management industry experience. In his role at Goldman Sachs, he oversees the firm’s global investment efforts in the aerospace, defense and government services market.

He joined other financial services and GovCon veterans at an October 2022 conference in McLean, Virginia, to discuss the current regulatory environment for mergers and acquisitions within the federal market.

Goldman Sachs was the exclusive financial adviser to Vectrus on the latter’s all-stock merger transaction with The Vertex Company to form a more diversified provider of government services. The deal closed in July 2022 and established the company now known as V2X.

Also in 2022, Goldman Sachs’ private equity business invested $125 million in Fortress Information Security to help that company advance its platform aimed at protecting industrial and government clients from supply chain cybersecurity and operational risks.

The New York-based investment bank additionally helps small business owners in the U.S. and Puerto Rico to gain access to capital, education and support services through the firm’s 10,000 Small Businesses Voices program.

Earlier in his career, Tarulli held portfolio management roles at Rochdale Investment Management and Veritable. He holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in finance from Villanova University and the New York University Stern School of Business, respectively.

Executive Mosaic congratulates Michael Tarulli and the entire Goldman Sachs team for their selection to receive the Wash100 award.
