Intel Federal President Jim Brinker Presented 3rd Wash100 Award By Executive Mosaic CEO Jim Garrettson

Jim Brinker, president and general manager of Intel Federal, was recently presented his 2022 Wash100 Award by Executive Mosaic CEO Jim Garrettson during a recent visit to the company’s headquarters in Fairfax, VA.

With his third consecutive Wash100 win, Jim Brinker has received the most prestigious award in all of government contracting (GovCon), which demonstrates his level of success and commitment to the future growth of Intel Federal’s business as well as the GovCon community.

Executive Mosaic is thrilled to recognize Jim Brinker as a three-time Wash100 Award winner for his leadership in support of the company’s semiconductor-focused efforts and promoting collaborations with industry partners and government agencies.

Most recently, Brinker spoke with ExecutiveBiz to discuss the most pivotal growth objectives and partnerships to drive Intel Federal forward for the rest of 2022 as well as the challenge of staying ahead of innovation in the federal space during the latest Executive Spotlight interview.

“The sense of urgency around passing and implementing the CHIPS Act is all about the reality of trying to assure the US supply of microelectronics,” Brinker explained. “If we started today, we wouldn’t have a state-of-the-art foundry built for at least 2 – 3 years. It’s a very unique time and the next 12 months for the government will be absolutely essential to drive the next 20 years.”

The three-time Wash100 Award recipient also emphasized the work the federal government has been doing to address many of the challenges of today’s landscape, which Intel Federal is helping to marry the various technologies together to reach those solutions as soon as possible.

“The speed bump is that in today’s environment, you can’t just scrap everything and start all over again, which is honestly one of the biggest challenges the government is dealing with now,” said Brinker. The government needs to find an evolutionary path forward…and one that Intel is uniquely positioned to support and provide the solutions to accomplish these necessary goals.”

As president and general manager of Intel Federal, Jim Brinker is responsible for the company’s federal business unit, which includes overall strategy, business development, capture, contracts, program management and finance for strategic program activity for the federal government.

Executive Mosaic is pleased to recognize Intel Federal and Jim Brinker as a 2022 Wash100 Award recipient. As a three-time winner of the most coveted award in GovCon, he has demonstrated an elite level of accomplishment and contribution to the GovCon community that can only be recognized by the Wash100 Award.
