Dana Barnes, president of the government business at Dataminr, was presented with his 2022 Wash100 Award, the most prestigious award in government contracting (GovCon), by Executive Mosaic CEO Jim Garrettson during a recent visit to the company’s office in Arlington, VA.

With his second consecutive Wash100 win, Dana Barnes has received the most prized award in GovCon, which demonstrates the highest level of leadership, commitment and accomplishment in support of the GovCon community to drive our industry forward.

Dana Barnes recently joined Dataminr, one of the leading artificial intelligence businesses with seven global offices on three separate continents, back in June as the company’s president of Government business. Recently, Dana Barnes explained how the federal agencies that are working to be compliant with the guidelines set by the current administration, should consider how solutions such as Zero Trust Network Access 2.0 (ZTNA 2.0) to help meet more robust network security requirements.

As a result of current hybrid work and distributed applications for modern federal agencies, there have been significant gaps in granting access to applications as well as a lack of monitoring on the user experience side as well as the application and device behavior.
