Why Did Scott McIntyre Win the 2026 Wash100 Award?

McIntyre’s 10th consecutive Wash100 win highlights his sustained leadership in driving Guidehouse expansion into a mission-oriented consulting firm through strategic transitions, industry partnerships and investments in AI, workforce and culture.

Under McIntyre’s leadership, Guidehouse has committed to a $1.5 billion, three-year investment to accelerate AI innovation, including the development of a next-generation AI platform designed to scale mission-critical transformation across government, national security and highly regulated industries such as healthcare. The initiative includes establishing an AI Center of Excellence, developing tailored AI tools, building multiagent architectures, expanding technology leadership and forming strategic partnerships to enable secure, scalable AI deployment.

Guidehouse has also strengthened its financial management modernization capabilities through an expanded partnership with Databricks and a $250 million U.S. Army contract. The company was also included in the Department of the Treasury’s Financial Management Quality Service Management Office, or FM QSMO, Marketplace, enabling agencies to avail of its services.

At the same time, McIntyre has continued to build out Guidehouse’s leadership team, appointing key executives across technology, digital and operations, to align talent with the company’s long-term growth and innovation strategy.

Who Is Scott McIntyre?
