Kevin Kelly
Arcfield
2024
Kelly made his debut among Wash100 Award winners in 2024 for his significant contributions to federal contracting. Kelly guided Arcfield through strategic expansions—including the acquisitions of Strategic Technology Consulting and Orion Space Solutions—strengthening Arcfield’s capabilities in digital engineering, space tech, hypersonic detection and digital twin solutions.
Arcfield made a significant accomplishment when it achieved Cyber Maturity Model Certification, or CMMC, Level 2 after a thorough review of its cyber systems. Kelly also led Arcfield to significant cyber contracts, including contracts from federal government customers in the field of cyber assurance.
Arcfield offers comprehensive defensive cybersecurity tools, cross-domain services, cyber software engineering and risk management to federal civilian, defense and intelligence community customers. Maria Demaree
Lockheed Martin
2023–2025
Demaree has earned three Wash100 Awards for her leadership in moving space technology and innovation forward in support of national security. A veteran of over 30 years at Lockheed Martin, she was appointed senior vice president and chief information officer in December 2024.
Lockheed Martin in recent years started an initiative to help hire military service members for cybersecurity positions. The company is incorporating AI and machine learning to help it stay ahead of growing cybersecurity threats through efforts such as the Lockheed Martin Artificial Intelligence Center.
Lockheed Martin is also offering its Terrestrial Layer System-Echelons Above Brigade, or TLS-EAB, service that provides integrated signals intelligence, electronic warfare and cyberspace support to Joint All Domain Operational-enabled forces. The company has been operating the U.S. Test Resource Management Center’s National Cyber Range for over a decade. This secure range that can be scaled in size gives federal agencies insights into how their existing IT systems meet cyber threats.
Another Lockheed Martin cybersecurity offering is the Lockheed Martin Artificial Intelligence Center, or LAIC. This center is developing AI-powered threat detection systems that can identify and respond to emerging threats as they happen. The system uses advanced analytics and ML algorithms to analyze network traffic and system data to identify anomalies and patterns that may suggest a potential threat.
