Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification is necessary for any government contractor to do business with the Department of Defense and its associated agencies. Certification is required to ensure government contractors have stringent and resilient cybersecurity systems to protect vital U.S. information assets against hacking from hostile actors and mismanagement due to inferior information technology (IT) system practices.

During Potomac Officers Club’s 2021 CMMC Forum, the major players in public and private spheres will meet to discuss the latest updates, requirements and questions regarding Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification.

CMMC Accreditation Body chairman Karlton Johnson will deliver the Forum’s keynote address and provide his overview and perspective of the CMMC rollout as well as the top priorities for the board and how industry feedback will help to improve the vision behind how the organization develops for the first 100 days
