Peraton’s Stu Shea Presented 6th Wash100 Award By Executive Mosaic CEO Jim Garrettson

Stu Shea, chairman, president and CEO of Peraton, was recently presented his 2022 Wash100 Award by Executive Mosaic CEO Jim Garrettson during a recent visit to the company’s office in Reston, VA.

Executive Mosaic is thrilled to recognize Stu Shea as a six-time recipient of the most prestigious and esteemed award in the government contracting (GovCon) community, which demonstrates his leadership and status as one of the most significant executives in our industry.

“Stu Shea is an executive of grand ambition, demonstrated by the amalgamation of Peraton into one of Virginia’s largest privately owned companies through the strategic integration of Peraton with the former Northrop Grumman IT services business and Perspecta, along with six other GovCon industry players,” Jim Garrettson commented on Shea’s historic Wash100 win.

With his sixth Wash100 Award win, Stu Shea has received the highest honor in GovCon for spearheading company expansion for Peraton through strategic acquisitions and securing an array of technology, maintenance and support contracts from its government and military customers.

In his substantial role in perpetuating company growth for Peraton as well as driving acquisitions, his vision and guidance drive the company’s strategic direction in the federal sector while also driving its performance and culture.

Most recently, Peraton announced a potential ten-year, $2.69 billion contract to assist with data center and cloud optimization efforts with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The company’s duties will include implementing automation, optimizing and evolving technologies to build on the company’s specialties in information technology security and managed services.

“This award further demonstrates our ability to deliver adaptable, managed enterprise IT services and support DHS’ goal,” Stu Shea explained. He welcomed the chance to help the department address the latest and most challenging threats to our national security.

In addition, Peraton was also highlighted as one of the best-managed companies, by Deloitte Private and the Wall Street Journal, who also achieve high regard in corporate strategy and company culture in our business.

Stu Shea commented on how Peraton is already charting a sustainable course for long-term success despite being only five years from its inception. He explained that the company has implemented the right strategy with the right people and rules to be recognized as one of the elite and well-run organizations in the entire U.S. business sector.

“Along with the rest of the GovCon market and this year’s flight of Wash100 winners, we will watch assiduously, and with great anticipation, Shea’s emerging plans, appetite for growth and predisposition for acceleration…buckle up,” Jim Garrettson commented.

Executive Mosaic is pleased to recognize Peraton and Stu Shea as a 2022 Wash100 Award recipient. As a six-time recipient of the most coveted award in GovCon. He has demonstrated an industry-leading standard of accomplishment and contribution to the GovCon community that can only be recognized by the Wash100 Award.
