James Gordon, CEO of DRT Strategies, was presented his 2022 Wash100 Award, the highest honor in all of government contracting (GovCon), by Executive Mosaic CEO Jim Garrettson during a recent visit to the company’s office in Arlington, VA.
Executive Mosaic is thrilled to recognize Gordon as a first-time recipient of the Wash100 Award for his work helping steward the health information technology company’s pursuit of contract opportunities in the federal sector and offering digital transformation and IT modernization thought leadership.
Back in April, DRT Strategies announced that Gordon, who previously served as president of Cognosante, had been named the company’s new CEO to succeed Susan Kidd in the role. Gordon brings more than 30 years of experience to DRT Strategies across federal, state, commercial, and international customers.

During a recent Executive Spotlight interview with ExecutiveBiz, Gordon discussed the impact and changes that talent recruitment and retention are driving in regard to the workforce challenges in the federal landscape.

In addition, he also shared his invaluable insights regarding the influence of IT modernization on the data management, platforms and network challenges in the federal health sector.
