Executive Mosaic is glad to recognize Phillips’ significant contributions to the GovCon industry as well as his leadership and ambition to drive ManTech’s organic growth in the federal sector through key acquisitions and noteworthy government contract awards.

“Kevin Phillips has spent two decades delivering consistent results and leadership to Mantech International where he served in the straight line ascendancy of CFO to President to CEO to chairman of the board in textbook fashion,” Garrettson highlighted. “His commitment to the company and the government contracting community has earned Kevin a well-deserved reputation of reliability and consistently solid growth.”

Most recently, Phillips’ growth strategy led ManTech to end 2021 with the $350 million cash acquisition of Gryphon Technologies, a Washington, D.C.-based digital and systems engineering company, from private equity firm AE Industrial Partners in order to bring new programs, customers and skilled professionals for the company’s defense business.

In addition, ManTech also began 2022 with the key acquisition of  Technical and Management Assistance Corp. (TMAC), a Columbia, Maryland-based provider of data engineering, systems engineering, mission management, data collection and analytics services to the intelligence community under the six-time Wash100 recipient’s leadership.

“ManTech has a well-established reputation as a leader in analytics capabilities that collect and decipher vast data flows across SIGINT systems,” said Phillips. “Technical and Management Assistance Corporation builds on these strengths with complementary solutions that ensure the delivery of vital intelligence at speed.”

Executive Mosaic congratulates ManTech and Kevin Phillips on the highest honor in the GovCon industry for a sixth time. Each year, the Wash100 Award recognizes the most influential members of our community. Phillips winning this award for the sixth-time demonstrates the level of success and achievement that he’s maintained for ManTech heading into the spring of 2022.
