Craig Halliday, CEO of Unanet, has been named a 2026 Wash100 Award recipient by Executive Mosaic, recognizing his leadership in transforming how government contractors leverage enterprise software, artificial intelligence and data-driven decision-making. His continued recognition highlights Unanet’s rapid growth, expanding technology portfolio and increasing influence across the GovCon ecosystem.

Why Did Craig Halliday Win the 2026 Wash100 Award?

Halliday’s fourth Wash100 recognition is driven by Unanet’s strong growth trajectory, technology innovation and strategic partnerships that are reshaping how government contractors operate.

“Craig helped Unanet achieve FedRAMP Ready status for its ERP platform, demonstrating the company’s advanced cybersecurity capabilities. He also led Unanet to a pair of impressive product launches, including ProposalAI, to help GovCons faster produce first-draft proposals, and ChampAI, a national-language copilot that automates multi-step tasks. Under Craig’s leadership, Unanet develops AI tools that are intuitive, simplified and useful to customers’ real world business needs. We look forward to another year of success from Craig,” added Garrettson.

Unanet Achievements Under His Leadership

Under Halliday’s leadership, Unanet has significantly expanded its capabilities as a provider of ERP and CRM solutions tailored to government contractors. The company has focused on integrating artificial intelligence and automation into its platform to improve forecasting, proposal development and operational efficiency.

In 2025, Unanet introduced GrowthStudio, an AI-powered growth automation platform designed to help small and mid-sized GovCon firms identify and pursue higher-quality federal opportunities. This launch reflects Halliday’s emphasis on enabling customers to win more business through data-driven insights and automation.

The company also continued to expand its AI portfolio with solutions such as Champ AI, reinforcing its position as a provider of purpose-built AI tools for GovCon and adjacent markets.

Unanet’s GovCon ERP platform achieved FedRAMP Ready status, marking a critical step in meeting federal security requirements and enabling broader adoption across government contractors.

Beyond product innovation, Unanet demonstrated strong financial and market performance. The company achieved double-digit revenue growth in 2025 and was again named to the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing companies, reflecting sustained demand for its solutions. Halliday has consistently emphasized customer success and innovation as key drivers of this growth.

Unanet also expanded internationally, launching its construction CRM in the United Kingdom through a partnership with Algorithms Software UK, signaling the company’s ambition to extend its reach beyond the U.S. market.

Contract Awards

While Unanet does not operate as a traditional prime contractor, its platforms directly support government contractors in securing and managing federal contracts. Under Halliday’s leadership, the company has strengthened its role as an enabler of contract success by providing tools that improve compliance, financial management and opportunity tracking.

The FedRAMP Ready designation for Unanet’s ERP platform is particularly significant, as it aligns the company’s technology with federal security standards and expands its relevance in contract environments requiring high levels of compliance.

Through AI-driven tools like GrowthStudio and ProposalAI, Unanet has also enhanced contractors’ ability to identify opportunities, develop proposals and manage pipelines—effectively influencing contract outcomes across its customer base.

Partnerships & Acquisitions

Strategic partnerships and acquisitions have played a central role in Halliday’s growth strategy.

In 2025, Unanet acquired Contraqer, a move designed to enhance its GovCon capabilities and expand its ability to support business development and contract lifecycle management.

The company’s international expansion into the U.K. market was enabled through a partnership with Algorithms Software UK and integration with the Xpedeon ERP platform, demonstrating Halliday’s focus on ecosystem collaboration.

Additionally, Unanet’s continued investment in AI and product innovation reflects partnerships across the technology landscape, ensuring its solutions remain aligned with evolving customer needs and industry trends.
