How Is Guidehouse Planning to Drive AI Innovation Under Scott McIntyre’s Leadership?

In June 2025, Guidehouse announced plans to invest $1.5 billion over the next three years in initiatives to drive AI innovation. The investment will advance the launch of a next-generation AI platform designed to scale mission-critical transformation across government, national security, regulated healthcare and other markets.

Key initiatives under the plan include the formation of a new AI Center of Excellence; development of AI tools tailored for regulated government and commercial markets; creation of multiagent AI architectures; expansion of the firm’s technology leadership team; and establishment of strategic partnerships with AI ecosystems and industry stakeholders to drive scalable, secure AI deployment across critical environments.

“Guidehouse has consistently led transformational change, collaborating with world-class clients to tackle their most complex challenges,” McIntyre said. “As government agencies and commercial enterprises converge on responsible AI and rapid technological innovation, we see a moment of perfect alignment. Our vision merges deep industry expertise with advanced AI to create fast and lasting impact.”

Modernizing Financial Systems

Guidehouse kicked off 2026 with the expansion of its partnership with Databricks to launch a new financial management capability designed to help government agencies modernize accounting and audit operations using AI.

The launch of the platform builds on Guidehouse’s support for federal financial modernization.

In April 2025, Guidehouse secured a $250 million hybrid contract from the U.S. Army for financial support services.

Guidehouse has also been added to the Department of the Treasury’s Financial Management Quality Service Management Office Marketplace, which provides agencies with access to vetted providers for financial systems modernization and transformation services.

What Are Guidehouse’s Key Strategic Hires?

Under McIntyre’s leadership, Guidehouse has made key leadership appointments as it expands its investments in AI to empower its workforce and drive measurable outcomes for customers.

In October 2025, Guidehouse appointed Ron White, an enterprise technology and digital transformation leader, as its chief information officer.

“Ron is a visionary leader whose approach to technology is grounded in business impact,” McIntyre said. “His experience leading high-performing teams and deploying AI at scale aligns with our mission to deliver trusted, measurable value for our clients.”

The company also tapped Stuart Brown, a growth strategist and technologist, to lead the digital business.

In January 2025, Guidehouse expanded its digital leadership with the appointment of technology executives Nicole Turner, James Young and Rahul Jain as partners.

Additional leadership appointments include Jennifer Moltzan as chief people officer; healthcare executive John Morris as head of the firm’s global health segment; and Karen Odegaard as head of AI services.

Who Is Scott McIntyre?

McIntyre is a seasoned strategist and executive whose career trajectory reflects both deep expertise in government consulting and an ability to reinvent legacy practices for modern challenges. Today, he leads Guidehouse, guiding a global consulting firm that helps federal agencies and regulated commercial markets navigate complexity, risk and transformational change.

McIntyre’s journey to the top of GovCon started long before Guidehouse emerged as a major player in the market. He began his career sharpening his analytical and leadership acumen across a range of professional services environments, including a pivotal decade at KPMG.

In 2004, McIntyre joined PwC, where he would spend more than a decade building and leading its public sector business.

That leadership proved defining in 2018, when PwC’s public sector arm was established as an independent firm and became Guidehouse under Veritas Capital ownership. McIntyre remained at the helm through that transition and later through the firm’s acquisition by Bain Capital, guiding Guidehouse across ownership changes while shaping it into a standalone consulting firm that has since expanded across defense, healthcare, civilian and commercial markets. His leadership style combines disciplined financial execution with a strong emphasis on a people-first culture.

Sustained Leadership in a Changing GovCon Landscape

His ability to balance growth with execution, integrate acquisitions without losing cultural cohesion and position Guidehouse at the forefront of defense, healthcare and digital transformation continues to set him apart among GovCon industry leaders.
