Top 5 Execs Hold Onto Spots in 2022 Wash100 Award Voting; Carahsoft’s Craig Abod, ECS’ John Heneghan Make Significant Leaps

Another week of voting for the 2022 Wash100 Award has passed and the ranking is sizzling with competition. You still have plenty of time–from now until April 30–to cast 10 votes for the executives you respect the most in the government, military and GovCon sectors.

Since last week’s voting results, the top five executives in industry and government combined held onto their spots, with BlueHalo CEO Jonathan Moneymaker in first place, SAIC CEO Nazzic Keene in second and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin in third place.

Northrop Grumman CVP and Defense Systems President Mary Petryszyn and Red Hat VP and GM Clara Conti are still rounding out the top five in fourth and fifth place.

There were some notable shifts in the rankings, however. Over the course of the week, Carahsoft President Craig Abod bounced up an astounding 10 spots, from 20th to 10th place.

ECS Federal President John Heneghan also ascended 10 spots in the ranking, jumping from 30th place to 20th in just one week.

In addition, U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency Director Jen Easterly made commendable headway in the rankings, rising from 19th place to 17th.

National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency Deputy Director Tonya Wilkerson also moved up one spot in the top 10 in the last week, from seventh place to sixth place, inching her way closer to the top five.

QinetiQ North America President and CEO Shawn Purvis, Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering Heidi Shyu and Space Force Chief Technology and Innovation Officer Dr. Lisa Costa all fought off the opposition to retain their spots at eighth, ninth and 16th places, respectively.
