SAIC Chief Toni Townes-Whitley Receives 2024 Wash100 Award From Executive Mosaic

During a recent trip to SAIC’s headquarters in Reston, Virginia, Executive Mosaic CEO Jim Garrettson hand-delivered the 2024 Wash100 Award to SAIC CEO and President Toni Townes-Whitley. This is the highly regarded businesswoman’s first time receiving the distinction, which recognizes the most influential leaders in government contracting.

The Wash100 is a now 11-year tradition wherein EM’s discerning body scours the GovCon landscape to identify the individuals who are making an impression as the drivers of change for tomorrow. Winners have an undeniable vision, are hugely innovative and demonstrate a reliability that indicates they will be delivering greatness in perpetuity.

Townes-Whitley ascended to the chief executive post in October 2023 and has quickly inspired confidence in onlookers and shareholders alike for her capabilities at the helm of the $7.4 billion company. She commands a small army of 24,000 employees, whom she reorganized in December of last year into five business groups, each led by an executive vice president. Explore her expanded profile detailing her qualifications.

One of the aforementioned business groups is dedicated to SAIC’s Air Force business. The company is sponsoring the Potomac Officers Club’s 2024 Air Force Summit on July 23, which will gather the most ambitious and important Air Force officials for a day of networking, speeches, panel discussions and more. Check out the full lineup and be sure to save your seat.

“Toni has established herself as a strategic, influential and deeply knowledgeable leader who is well-equipped to take the reins of the enterprise and guide SAIC through its next phase of growth. Toni was an obvious choice for the Wash100 Award this year,” Garrettson said.

Executive Mosaic — the industry leader in GovCon networking events and media — congratulates Townes-Whitley on her achievement and is excited to see where she takes the massive enterprise of SAIC!
