Serco North America CEO Michael LaRouche has accepted his third Wash100 Award, recognizing his executive leadership, strategic vision and continued momentum in advancing national security missions across the defense landscape.

Jim Garrettson, CEO of Executive Mosaic and founder of the Wash100 Award, presented the honor to LaRouche during a visit to Serco’s office on Feb. 18.

Why Did Michael LaRouche Win the 2026 Wash100 Award?

LaRouche earned his 2026 Wash100 Award for translating strategy into operational impact and positioning Serco as a key partner in defense modernization, naval readiness and mission-critical support.

Since taking the helm of Serco Americas in September 2025, LaRouche has overseen significant contract wins that expanded the company’s footprint across naval shipbuilding and missile defense.

Among those wins, Serco secured a position on the Missile Defense Agency’s $151 billion Scalable Homeland Innovative Enterprise Layered Defense contract vehicle supporting the Golden Dome layered homeland missile defense initiative.

The company also continues supporting the U.S. Navy’s Submarine High Data Rate program under an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract from the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport, delivering depot-level repair, maintenance and upgrade services for a communications system critical to the Navy’s submarine fleet. In addition, Serco plays a key role in assisting the Navy’s Program Executive Office Ships Amphibious Warfare Program Office with the development and acquisition of amphibious warfare ships and systems.

Who Is Michael LaRouche?

Michael LaRouche is a veteran executive with more than three decades of leadership experience spanning defense, intelligence, space and advanced technology markets.

Before joining Serco, he served as president of the national security and space sector at SAIC, where he led the delivery of advanced systems integration, digital engineering and mission operations capabilities to defense, intelligence community and space customers.

LaRouche also held senior leadership positions at Raytheon and Lockheed Martin, where he managed large-scale defense portfolios and helped drive advancements in satellite platforms, cyber capabilities, automation and unmanned and ISR systems. His work focused on delivering complex, technology-driven solutions in support of evolving national security requirements.

Beyond his corporate leadership, LaRouche serves on the board of the Intelligence and National Security Alliance, where he chairs the membership committee, and was recently elected to the Professional Services Council’s board of directors for a three-year term.
