Jim Garrettson, founder and CEO of Executive Mosaic, presented John Vollmer, president of AECOM Management Services, with his fourth Wash100 Award on Monday.
Executive Mosaic recognizes Vollmer for securing several large contracts in 2018 and supporting the company’s growth. We are pleased to present the most coveted award in government contracting to Vollmer.
Vollmer joined AECOM following the acquisition of URS Corporation in 2014. As the president of management services, Vollmer provides an array of technical and management services for federal government clients including the planning, organizing and controlling the operating activities of over 17,000 employees in 70 countries.
Previously, he served URS Corporation as the executive vice president of operations for nearly six years. Vollmer possesses more than 35 years of experience providing IT, command and control solutions worldwide for military and other federal agencies.
Vollmer received a bachelor’s degree in business from Flagler College in 1979. He earned an MBA from Northeastern University as a part of EG&G’s Corporate Executive Management Program in 2000.
