Carahsoft President Craig Abod has accepted his 12th Wash100 Award, recognizing his sustained leadership, strategic vision and continued business momentum in a dynamic federal policy and procurement landscape.

Jim Garrettson, CEO of Executive Mosaic and founder of the Wash100 Award, presented the honor to Abod during a visit to Carahsoft’s office in Reston, Virginia, on Feb. 18.

Why Did Craig Abod Win the 2026 Wash100 Award?

Abod earned his 12th Wash100 Award for guiding Carahsoft through evolving federal priorities while maintaining strong double-digit growth and deepening the company’s role as a bridge between innovative technology providers and the public sector.

In 2025, Carahsoft closed $22.5 billion in bookings and posted $125 billion in lifetime bookings.

Under Abod’s leadership, Carahsoft has launched, expanded and enabled more than 30 specialized technology and customer verticals aligned to mission needs and emerging policy priorities across several areas, including cybersecurity, FedRAMP, multicloud, DevSecOps, artificial intelligence and 5G.

The company onboarded between 300 and 400 new partners in 2025 — many of them startups and growth-stage firms — reinforcing Abod’s commitment to empowering emerging technology providers in the public sector marketplace.
