CGI Federal President Stephanie Mango has accepted her fifth consecutive Wash100 Award, recognizing her leadership in advancing technology modernization initiatives, including the adoption of artificial intelligence and efforts to modernize aviation safety.
Jim Garrettson, CEO of Executive Mosaic and founder of the Wash100 Award, presented the honor to Mango during the 2026 GovCon Executive Leadership Summit on Feb. 26.
Why Did Stephanie Mango Win the 2026 Wash100 Award?
Mango earned her 2026 Wash100 Award for guiding CGI Federal’s continued growth while helping agencies adopt emerging technologies and modernize mission-critical systems.
Under her leadership, CGI Federal won several federal contracts and expanded its role in initiatives supporting government modernization and national security priorities.
Among those efforts, the company was selected to modernize the Federal Aviation Administration’s Notice to Airmen system, helping strengthen aviation safety and improve the sharing of operational information across the National Airspace System.
CGI Federal also expanded its presence in defense programs through its selection for the Missile Defense Agency’s Scalable Homeland Innovative Enterprise Layered Defense contract vehicle supporting the Golden Dome missile defense initiative.
The company has also advanced artificial intelligence-driven modernization across government through initiatives such as the launch of a Fraud, Waste and Abuse Prevention Platform in partnership with TrackLight and its addition to the General Services Administration’s Financial Management Quality Service Management Office Marketplace.

“Earning a 2026 Wash100 Award for the fifth consecutive year is an outstanding milestone that underscores the consistent leadership and influence Stephanie brings to GovCon year after year,” said Garrettson.
“As president of CGI Federal, Stephanie has continued to drive meaningful growth and mission impact, including helping secure the company’s selection to improve U.S. aviation safety. Her energy, collaborative approach and commitment to innovation truly embody the Wash100 spirit and highlight the lasting difference she’s making across federal technology and mission success,” Garrettson added.
