The Wash100 Award annually recognizes the most elite, outstanding and influential executives working in the federal government and the government contracting industry. This year, Kendall secured his fourth Wash100 Award for his instrumental role in improving the Air and Space Forces’ abilities to project power in a decisive decade for the global power competition.
Kendall has served as secretary for the Department of the Air Force since July 2021 and during his tenure, he has built a reputation for his keen focus on deterring and outpacing China and for his strong, clear leadership through initiatives such as his seven operational imperatives.
